Job Summary

Langan is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join its collaborative team in Parsippany, NJ. This individual will serve a key function in the protection and security of Langan’s network and information systems. In this role, you will have the opportunity to serve firm-wide as an information security subject matter expert on various security initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, implementation, and maintenance of the Firm’s comprehensive enterprise-wide security program;
• Collaborate with the Chief Information Officer, Director of Infrastructure and Cyber Security Engineer to plan and establish information security policies and develop cybersecurity strategies;
• Continuously monitor Langan’s IT infrastructure and identify ways to enhance the company’s network security;
• Communicate with end users and relevant disciplines and departments in the organization concerning cyber security threats, notifications and performance;
• Conduct end user security awareness training and testing;
• Assist with business continuity and incident response process; 
• Research emerging trends and security technologies; and
• Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or similar discipline required, Master’s degree in Cyber Security preferred;
• Hands-on experience in a cyber security internship or similar role;
• Knowledge of security industry standards and best practices;
• Strong technical knowledge of cyber security tools, protocols, and standards;
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
• Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail;
• Aptitude for problem solving with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities;
• Excellent technical writing, documentation, and presentation skills;
• Ability to multi-task effectively; and
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
