Job Summary 

We are seeking a strategic and driven Senior Manager of Sales Operations to optimize our sales processes and drive growth in a dynamic, technology-focused environment. The Senior Manager of Sales Operations will oversee a team of 3-4 direct reports to streamline processes, enhance sales performance, and drive operational excellence. This role requires deep expertise in both Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and hardware technology sales, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce CRM proficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience spearheading complex, cross-functional initiatives such as improving quoting processes, assessing and implementing a new Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) tool, overhauling price books and SKU architecture, and building robust processes for the end-to-end customer lifecycle. They will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, finance, services, and product teams to support strategic initiatives, ensure accurate forecasting, and enable scalable growth. This role is pivotal in aligning our sales operations with the unique needs of both government and enterprise clients in the cybersecurity space. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Sales Process Optimization: Design, implement, and refine sales processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and alignment with company goals across the full, end-to-end customer lifecycle. 
  • Quoting and CPQ Improvements: Lead initiatives to enhance quoting accuracy and efficiency, including assessing and potentially implementing a new CPQ tool to streamline complex quoting processes. 
  • Salesforce CRM Management: Partner with the GTM Systems team to oversee the administration, customization, and optimization of Salesforce CRM to support sales workflows, reporting, and data integrity. 
  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 3-4 sales operations professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. 
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales team effectiveness and operational efficiency. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales leadership, marketing, finance, services, and product teams to align sales strategies with organizational goals, ensuring seamless execution of go-to-market plans and accurate forecasting. 
  • Technology Integration: Drive the adoption of sales tools and technologies, including CPQ and other platforms, to enhance productivity and integrations with Salesforce. 
  • Training and Enablement: In collaboration with the Sales Enablement team, develop and deliver training programs to equip the sales team with the tools, processes, and knowledge needed to succeed. 

Qualifications 

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in sales operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing direct reports. Experience in both SaaS and hardware technology sales is strongly preferred. 
  • Salesforce Expertise: Proficiency in Salesforce CRM administration, configuration, and reporting. Salesforce Administrator certification is a plus. 
  • CPQ and Pricing Expertise: Proven experience in optimizing quoting processes and managing complex price books. 
  • Customer Lifecycle Management: Demonstrated ability to build and manage processes for the customer lifecycle in a B2B technology environment. 
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, with a track record of driving process improvements in collaboration with multiple internal stakeholders. 
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a small team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Government Contracting: Familiarity with government procurement processes, compliance requirements (e.g., ITAR, FedRAMP), and contract management is highly desirable. 
  • Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of SaaS and hardware technology sales cycles, pricing models, and go-to-market strategies. 
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, technology, or a related field 
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-tech environment with complex client needs and evolving priorities. 

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:

$156,000.00-199,399.00 USD

The actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to a base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverages.
