Azure Cloud Security Engineer

Tasks
- Conduct insider threat assessments and document results in system security plan
- Continuously monitor system resources with automated scanning and reporting feeds
- Coordinate execution review and disposition of STIG checklists for systems applications and developed code
- Create RMF required authorization documentation and artifacts and support ATO sustainment
- Design deploy configure operate and maintain cloud security authorizations and accreditation
- Engineer solutions for migrating NIST 800 53 Rev 4 to 800 53 Rev 5 controls
- Ensure compliance with SCCA Cloud SRG and STIG requirements
- Execute enterprise vulnerability and compliance scanning program
- Implement Continuous Authorization to Operate in DevSecOps with automated control validation continuous monitoring and POA M management
- Mentor junior staff
- Prepare cybersecurity status briefing materials
- Prepare technical documentation for development and operational processes
- Serve as subject matter expert for system design system builds and authority to operate
- Support ATO conditions and requirements with cyber and technical teams
- Support cybersecurity authorizations team artifacts for Interim Authority Test and Authority to Operate
- Verify patch compliance and perform remediation
