Tasks
- Conduct security audits and assessments
- Create containment eradication and recovery plans
- Deliver executive briefings and post incident reports
- Develop threat mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies
- Escalate complex technical issues
- Handle classified information in compliance with DoD requirements
- Integrate threat intelligence
- Lead incident response
- Lead training and knowledge sharing
- Mentor junior analysts
- Orchestrate threat detection response and reporting
- Oversee threat detection processes
- Research and implement security automation
- Serve as SOC liaison to leadership
- Work rotating 24 7 SOC shifts
