Physical Security Architect & Practice Lead
Tasks
- Architect VMS platforms and ensure interoperability
- Architect branch surveillance systems
- Conduct performance reviews and training programs
- Conduct site surveys and branch assessments
- Coordinate delivery with project management and engineering teams
- Coordinate low voltage contractor installation and QA inspections
- Create as built diagrams system architecture drawings and standards guides
- Create reference architecture for physical security platforms
- Define camera placement coverage and retention standards
- Design Layer 1 physical security wiring infrastructure
- Develop physical security technology roadmap
- Enforce electrical grounding and bonding standards
- Escalate physical security service issues
- Evaluate physical security platforms and components
- Guide emerging branch security technologies
- Lead recruiting hiring and onboarding
- Maintain client relationships with corporate security and facilities
- Manage and mentor physical security technicians
- Monitor SLAs for physical security uptime and incident resolution
- Oversee operational troubleshooting and repair workflows
- Provide executive technical recommendations
- Review cable pathway designs and signal integrity
- Specify coaxial cable runs and termination standards
- Support Layer 2 and Layer 3 network functions
- Troubleshoot signal degradation and grounding faults
