Tasks
- Build event driven architectures using AWS streaming and messaging
- Conduct design and code reviews for correctness and testability
- Define backend microservices technical standards and best practices
- Design AI augmented data pipelines for streaming and batch
- Develop production microservices in Go using gRPC and REST
- Drive platform reliability initiatives using SLOs and observability
- Enforce AWS security networking and encryption practices
- Establish AI guardrails evaluation monitoring and cost controls
- Implement agentic AI workflows for autonomous processing
- Integrate LLMs and foundation models into backend services
- Lead backend architecture and delivery across microservices
- Lead incident response with root cause analysis and remediation
- Mentor engineers and raise engineering culture through influence
