Postgres AWS Database Engineer (Remote)
Tasks
- Administer, monitor, and optimize PostgreSQL databases
- Assist development teams with database optimization and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with developers to optimize SQL and database objects
- Contribute to DevOps processes including CI/CD automation
- Create and maintain documentation and deployment scripts
- Follow best practices for schema changes and migrations
- Identify and improve slow queries
- Implement access control, security policies, and audits
- Perform database maintenance and upgrades
- Set up and tune performance metrics and alerts
