Network Engineer III -Palo Alto Prism
Tasks
- Configure GlobalProtect IPsec cloud delivered firewalling
- Create SOPs and operational runbooks
- Ensure traffic steering SLA performance and application visibility
- Implement BGP policy control filtering failover
- Implement OSPF
- Improve observability with Prisma dashboards and monitoring tools
- Integrate Prisma Access with identity providers SAML MFA
- Lead Prisma SASE architecture support
- Lead high-severity incident response
- Manage customer onboarding change management upgrades migrations decommissioning
- Mentor Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineers
- Participate in 24x7 tier 3 escalation on call
- Perform network automation and standardization
- Perform root cause analysis
- Support AWS VPC Transit Gateway and hybrid connectivity
- Support Azure vNET vWAN ExpressRoute and hybrid connectivity
- Support Google Cloud VPC connectivity
- Support Prisma Access remote networks mobile users service connections
- Support Prisma SD WAN control and data planes
- Support Secure Web Gateway
- Support firewall as a service policies
- Support high availability and resiliency
- Support zero trust network access
- Troubleshoot complex Prisma SASE issues
- Use APIs Python Ansible and Terraform to automate operations
- Validate security policies routing and segmentation strategies
