- Build secure coding libraries and frameworks
- Conduct threat modeling and security architecture reviews
- Design secure authentication authorization and session management
- Develop and deliver application security training
- Drive vulnerability management triage prioritization and SLA tracking
- Harden container Kubernetes and cloud environments
- Implement runtime protections including WAF RASP and bot protection
- Lead red team and purple team exercises and remediation
- Maintain security technical documentation architecture diagrams runbooks and procedures
- Operate and tune SAST DAST IAST SCA and secret scanning in CI CD
- Perform manual code reviews and secure design consultations
- Respond to application security incidents
- Stay current with application security research and defensive tooling
- Track emerging threats and CVEs
