Tasks
- Advise on modernization and interoperability
- Conduct technical risk assessments
- Coordinate continuous monitoring
- Coordinate incident response
- Coordinate with authorizing officials and security control assessors
- Enforce data labeling and releasability policies
- Enforce need to share policies
- Ensure compliance with security control frameworks
- Establish governance and lifecycle management
- Evaluate cross domain technologies
- Lead CDES operations
- Lead accreditation and ATO activities
- Mentor engineering teams
- Oversee audit and logging for CDS capabilities
- Oversee configuration management
- Perform security engineering for data transfer mechanisms
- Produce security authorization packages
- Provide SME guidance for CDS design and integration
- Provide decision grade briefings to senior leadership
- Standardize engineering processes
- Validate data flow diagrams
