Tasks
- Build and tune dashboards monitors and alerting policies
- Define and enforce tagging standards and governance
- Define and implement trace based SLOs SLIs and error budgets
- Deploy monitoring modules using infrastructure as code
- Design monitoring coverage for Azure and AWS workloads
- Develop integrations with ITSM ServiceNow CI CD and on call workflows
- Engineer Kubernetes and OpenShift observability
- Engineer and operate enterprise observability platform
- Engineer database observability and query performance analytics
- Ensure W3C TraceContext propagation and unified service tagging
- Instrument services infrastructure and containers using OpenTelemetry
- Investigate and resolve performance reliability and capacity issues using telemetry
- Lead trace based root cause analysis during incidents
- Perform capacity analysis and scaling threshold planning
