- Analyze malicious activity for weaknesses and effects
- Analyze network traffic for anomalous activity
- Assist in publishing computer network defense guidance

- Coordinate with government staff to validate alerts
- Correlate forensic findings to network events

- Perform event correlation for situational awareness
- Perform forensic triage and determine incident scope
- Perform network mapping and OS fingerprinting
- Provide daily summary reports of network host events
- Receive analyze network and host alerts
- Track and document forensic analysis through resolution
- Validate network alerts with enterprise cyber defense staff
