Tasks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments
- Coordinate incident response activities
- Coordinate penetration testing
- Define and review user access matrices
- Embed security controls across software development lifecycle
- Facilitate minimum security baseline standards
- Identify and track security vulnerabilities to closure
- Identify security incidents and policy violations
- Integrate security controls for threat detection and incident response
- Monitor security checks in deployment pipelines
- Promote secure coding standards
- Provide scheduled security updates and reports
- Review remediation reports from security tools
- Support compliance with ISO 27001
- Support compliance with PCI DSS
- Support compliance with SABSA
- Support end user security awareness initiatives
- Support least privilege access management
- Support secure configuration management
- Support secure software development lifecycle practices
