- Advise cybersecurity leadership on strategy and emerging threats
- Align security controls with business objectives
- Analyze threat trends and identify risks
- Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning
- Conduct root cause analysis containment and remediation planning
- Define security policies standards and governance frameworks
- Design and mature zero trust security posture
- Embed security into system design and development lifecycle
- Evaluate and recommend security technologies tools and platforms
- Lead security assessments architecture reviews and system hardening
- Mentor security staff and share knowledge
- Provide expertise in network security cloud security identity access management incident response threat intelligence and vulnerability management
- Represent security in cross functional working groups
- Serve as incident escalation point
