Cyber Security Specialist
Tasks
- Analyze security requirements for system changes
- Analyze vulnerability scan results for non compliant findings
- Conduct system vulnerability scanning with DISA approved tools
- Coordinate weekly cybersecurity IPT activities
- Create CNSSI 1253 security control spreadsheet
- Create DoDAF diagrams for security controls
- Define STIGs for IA testing and remediation
- Design systems with IA criteria
- Develop cybersecurity and information assurance briefings
- Ensure hardware and software inventory compliance
- Execute vulnerability scans using Army approved methods
- Identify and resolve complex cybersecurity and information assurance problems
- Maintain system cybersecurity across the lifecycle
- Manage authority to test and authority to connect and authority to operate using security controls
- Manage eMASS packages and security artifacts
- Oversee cybersecurity safeguards for confidentiality integrity and availability
- Perform system self assessment prior to IVV
- Plan and execute IVV funding and scheduling with government representatives
- Produce traceability matrix of devices software and DISA STIGs
- Produce weekly RMF progress reports
- Record vulnerabilities and mitigations in POA and M using NIST 800 18
- Schedule and execute independent validation and verification
- Submit POA and M artifacts and risk analyses
- Support network security implementation
