Tasks
- Advise engineering and cloud teams on secure design
- Architect security controls for networks applications and cloud
- Conduct risk assessments and security architecture reviews
- Coordinate incident response with SOC and CIRT
- Develop cybersecurity strategy
- Develop system security plans SSP POAMs and assessment artifacts
- Drive continuous monitoring metrics and audit readiness
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements
- Govern enterprise cybersecurity policies and standards
- Implement logging and monitoring
- Implement security hardening and secure configuration management
- Implement zero trust and IAM controls
- Lead security tool deployments and integrations
- Lead vulnerability management and remediation tracking
- Manage endpoint protection EDR and network protections
- Oversee RMF authorization activities
- Produce senior leadership briefings and status reports
