- Assess internal control effectiveness efficiency and documentation
- Assist internal investigations
- Communicate issues and recommendations to owners
- Ensure audit communication and logistics
- Ensure audit control effectiveness
- Follow up on outstanding audit findings
- Identify issues and define root cause recommendations
- Maintain compliance and audit standards awareness
- Maintain relationships with process owners
- Mitigate vendor identified risks
- Monitor vendor changes and maintain risk assessments
- Perform third-party security risk assessments
- Promote third party risk management best practices
- Provide guidance to internal control process owners
- Review internal control evidence for adequacy
- Review vendor risk questionnaire submissions
- Update management on audit status
