Tasks
- Assess compliance with HIPAA security and privacy requirements
- Communicate with programs on control issues and corrective actions
- Conduct research and analysis of systems networks infrastructure and compliance requirements
- Develop cybersecurity audit plans test plans and system analyses
- Document and present audit and advisory reports to management
- Document project lessons learned and identify risk management improvements
- Evaluate risks and controls and recommend risk mitigation
- Maintain work paper documentation memos and letters
- Perform cybersecurity IT audits security risk assessments and controls reviews
- Plan and execute advisory assessment and audit projects
- Represent the agency during external audits and reviews
- Support reviews of general IT system controls and recommend controls
