- Confer with programming personnel and oversee resolution of production issues
- Coordinate patching upgrades and disaster recovery exercises
- Direct training for database equipment operation and procedures
- Ensure database systems are developed evaluated and maintained
- Lead database audit compliance and ensure logging monitoring and adherence to global standards
- Manage mentor and schedule database administration personnel
- Monitor database performance and transaction metrics
- Oversee SQL Server Oracle and Teradata database teams to ensure security scalability and performance
- Oversee testing of new and revised database programs
- Troubleshoot database issues and improve operating procedures
