Tasks
- Administer database security users roles and permissions
- Automate tasks with T SQL scripts SQL Agent jobs and PowerShell
- Configure and manage SQL Server AlwaysOn availability groups and failover clustering
- Develop and maintain SSIS packages and SSRS reports
- Install, configure and maintain SQL server instances
- Manage AWS IAM roles and permissions
- Manage and support SQL Server production QA and development environments
- Manage backup restore and point in time recovery
- Monitor OS metrics with Performance Monitor
- Monitor performance with CloudWatch and NewRelic
- Optimize database performance with query optimization index tuning and execution plan analysis
- Perform Windows Server administration and patching
- Troubleshoot connectivity network and DNS issues
