Tasks
- Collaborate with departments on database scripting reporting and analysis
- Contribute to disaster recovery planning and testing
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and IT best practices
- Implement database change controls and service requests
- Monitor and tune SQL queries procedures and views
- Perform database maintenance backups restores and alert monitoring
- Support data tier projects
- Support development of database procedures and documentation
- Support junior DBAs growth
- Troubleshoot database incidents and perform root cause analysis
