- Automate and orchestrate exposure management workflows
- Build and mentor cyber security team
- Collaborate with cyber defence operations and incident response teams
- Coordinate with system owners risk and governance teams
- Define and execute cyber exposure management strategy
- Define exposure management policies standards and procedures
- Develop executive cyber risk reporting and metrics
- Drive compliance improvement
- Drive risk-based remediation strategies
- Ensure recovery time and recovery point objectives are met
- Establish remediation prioritization governance
- Establish risk based exposure management framework
- Evaluate emerging exposure management technologies
- Govern asset visibility criticality classification and escalation
- Improve cyber posture visibility
- Incorporate threat intelligence into exposure prioritization
- Integrate with configuration management database
- Integrate with incident management
- Integrate with security incident and event management
- Integrate with security orchestration automation and response
- Integrate with threat intelligence platforms
- Lead attack surface reduction initiatives
- Manage budgeting capability development and vendors
- Own and optimize attack surface management platform
- Own and optimize cloud security posture management platform
- Own and optimize exposure management platform
- Own and optimize vulnerability disclosure and bug bounty platform
- Own and optimize vulnerability management platform
- Present exposure trends to executives and governance committees
- Set operational key performance indicators
- Support board level cybersecurity reporting
- Support regulator queries on exposure metrics
- Support system hardening and compliance verification
- Translate technical cyber risks to business impact
