- Apply structured problem solving methods
- Assess legacy and proposed system capabilities and provide recommendations
- Conduct design and code reviews
- Decide software architecture requirements design and validation
- Design develop test and release engineering tools for embedded software
- Develop validation plans and manage product risks
- Develop verified software features components builds and user support solutions
- Ensure requirement traceability across lifecycle
- Implement cybersecurity best practices PKI IAM authentication authorization certificate management secure communications
- Improve electronic tools development processes
- Integrate lifecycle requirements and configuration management tools
- Investigate tool issues and perform root cause analysis and documentation
- Obtain and negotiate requirements and translate into verifiable requirements
- Review work of less experienced developers and mentor junior engineers
- Support platform specific development Windows Linux Android and iOS
- Support secure cloud integrations and distributed system architectures
- Verify product capability using analytical and test results
