Principal Platform Engineer (Site Reliability Engineer)
Tasks
- Conduct daily standups shift handovers and weekly ops reviews
- Conduct readiness drills after action reviews and lessons learned
- Coordinate incident response troubleshooting and escalation
- Create technical guidance for NOC staff
- Detect resolve and document service impacting events
- Develop standard operating procedures incident response plans runbooks and shift logs
- Ensure compliance with federal security policies and RMF accreditation
- Generate operational metrics and performance reports
- Maintain Kubernetes hosted services uptime
- Maintain situational awareness with dashboards logs and proactive monitoring
- Manage day to day classified NOC operations
- Monitor cloud systems networks and container workloads
- Provide observability for network platform and container components
- Serve as point of contact for cloud alerts outages and classified incidents
