- Escalate breaches and provide board reporting
- Lead cyber capability culture and maturity
- Manage incident response and recovery
- Oversee risk identification and prioritisation
- Oversee risk treatment and residual risk reporting
- Own cyber security strategy policies and standards
- Own enterprise cyber security outcomes
- Own third party and vendor cyber risk accountability
- Provide assurance for managed security services
- Provide executive oversight of cyber incidents
- Serve as cyber risk owner
- Set cyber security operations success measures
