- Administer Cisco routers access lists and configurations
- Administer SAN VMware web services and databases
- Administer Voice over IP QoS and PSTN connectivity
- Administer WAN LAN performance monitoring and alerts
- Administer perimeter firewalls and network segmentation
- Administer user accounts and permissions
- Administer wireless networks and remote user secure connections
- Encrypt data storage and manage backups and disaster recovery
- Implement malware protection and log management
- Manage load balancing and failover on network circuits
- Manage network redundancy and failover
- Manage third party vendor network connectivity
- Manage vulnerability assessments and patch management
- Monitor network reliability performance and security
- Oversee network hardware software inventory and licensing
- Perform user permission audits
- Restrict inbound and outbound traffic
