Insurance Assurance Engineer
Tasks
- Apply Defense-in-Depth principles
- Author and submit cybersecurity authorization artifacts to eMASS
- Coordinate execution and disposition of STIG checklists
- Coordinate updates to assessment and authorization artifacts
- Develop and maintain system security documentation
- Develop and review ATO submissions
- Document ports, protocols, and services
- Draft and review SOP TTP POAM and FISMA Score Card
- Ensure secure network operations and topology
- Evaluate hardware and software security requirements
- Implement automated reporting feeds for authorizations
- Maintain systems per security policies
- Monitor system resources using automated scanning
- Perform cybersecurity authorization services
- Prepare customer cybersecurity status briefings
- Serve as main point of contact for authorization aspects
- Support site visits and system readiness reviews
- Troubleshoot and elevate patching issues with administrators
- Verify IAVA compliance dashboards
- Verify endpoint protection with Microsoft Defender for Endpoints
- Verify patch compliance using ACAS
