- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve performance and resource efficiency
- Create and maintain reusable performance test frameworks
- Define and maintain workload models
- Define test workloads from production usage patterns
- Design develop execute and maintain capacity tests
- Design develop execute and maintain endurance tests
- Design develop execute and maintain load tests
- Design develop execute and maintain spike tests
- Design develop execute and maintain stress tests
- Develop performance test strategy and execute for applications
- Establish performance baselines
- Establish performance testing standards templates and best practices
- Identify analyze and communicate performance risks bottlenecks capacity constraints
- Improve application performance for user experience
- Improve test reliability and reduce test run time
- Produce performance assessment reports risk evaluations and release recommendations
- Resolve performance bottlenecks with developers architects and infrastructure
- Schedule design and drive performance tests
- Support capacity planning and performance readiness assessments
- Take over vendor performance test scripts
