Physical Security Architect & Practice Lead
Tasks
- Architect branch surveillance systems
- Architect video management system platforms
- Conduct performance reviews and development plans
- Coordinate delivery with project management engineering and supply chain
- Create and maintain technical documentation and as built diagrams
- Create reference architecture and standards
- Define camera placement coverage and retention standards
- Define electrical grounding and bonding standards
- Deliver training to maintain technical certifications
- Design Layer 1 wiring infrastructure for physical security networks
- Develop physical security technology roadmap
- Evaluate and assess physical security vendors
- Lead recruiting hiring and onboarding for technical staff
- Manage and mentor field service technicians and engineers
- Monitor service level agreement compliance
- Oversee operational troubleshooting and maintenance coordination
- Provide guidance on video analytics threat detection and access control integration
- Review and approve cable plant signal integrity requirements
- Serve as primary escalation point for physical security issues
- Specify cable pathway and termination standards
- Support Layer 2 and Layer 3 physical security networks
- Support dispatching and scheduling of service technicians
- Troubleshoot signal degradation and grounding faults
