Physical Security Architect & Practice Lead
Tasks
- Architect branch surveillance systems
- Conduct performance reviews and training plans
- Coordinate delivery with engineering and project management
- Define camera placement and retention standards
- Define grounding and bonding standards
- Design Layer 1 physical security wiring infrastructure
- Develop physical security technology roadmap
- Evaluate and assess physical security vendors
- Lead recruiting and onboarding for technical staff
- Lead standards development and reference architecture
- Manage and mentor field service technicians
- Monitor service level agreements for uptime and incidents
- Oversee troubleshooting and maintenance coordination
- Participate in site surveys and branch assessments
- Produce technical documentation and as built drawings
- Provide Layer 2 and Layer 3 support for physical security networks
- Provide guidance on video analytics and AI threat detection
- Provide physical security architecture guidance
- Recommend and integrate Video Management System
- Review cable plant designs and signal integrity requirements
- Serve as primary client escalation point
- Specify cabling pathway and termination standards
- Support access control and intrusion integration
- Troubleshoot signal degradation and grounding faults
