- Automate database operations with scripting
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams for deployments
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Configure compliance audits and vulnerability assessments
- Configure high availability and replication
- Implement capacity planning and workload optimization
- Implement database security encryption and access controls
- Install and configure PostgreSQL on Azure
- Maintain documentation runbooks and standard operating procedures
- Manage Azure services related to PostgreSQL backup monitoring and networking
- Manage backups and disaster recovery strategies
- Manage database objects schemas and configurations
- Manage roles, permissions, and authentication
- Monitor and troubleshoot database issues incidents and outages
- Monitor database performance and optimize queries indexes and execution plans
- Perform database upgrades patching and migrations
- Perform restore and recovery testing
- Provide L2 L3 support for production systems
- Support CI CD pipelines for database deployments
- Support data migration and cloud modernization
