Principal Platform Security Engineer
Tasks
- Apply Security as Code principles
- Build and maintain monitoring and alerting for infrastructure application and data
- Build and maintain secure Azure and GCP infrastructure
- Coach and mentor engineering chapter members
- Conduct post-incident reviews and root cause analysis
- Coordinate security inquiries across technology and change initiatives
- Design implement and automate security controls in SDLC
- Influence architectural decisions for security and resilience
- Investigate security threats vulnerabilities and incidents
- Lead application security practices
- Oversee deployment mechanisms and intra day delivery improvements
- Produce security reporting for senior leadership
- Provide reusable security patterns and best practices
- Use Azure DevOps Pipelines and Terraform for infrastructure automation
