Tasks
- Create and maintain database documentation
- Develop implement and test backup and recovery procedures
- Implement automation for scalability and operational efficiency
- Install configure and optimize database systems
- Lead and support database projects from planning through implementation
- Lead database deployments upgrades migrations and infrastructure initiatives
- Manage database security and access controls
- Monitor database performance and identify bottlenecks
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations
- Troubleshoot and resolve database incidents and outages
