- Ensure data compliance with organizational standards
- Implement backup failover and disaster recovery
- Investigate diagnose and remediate database performance issues
- Maintain database and cloud documentation
- Monitor database health, performance, and security
- Perform database migrations
- Plan deploy and manage Azure SQL databases
- Recommend indexes and partitions
- Refresh non production environments with production data
- Support production on-call rotation
