Tasks
- Define API authentication standards using OAuth 2 0 OpenID Connect JWT and mTLS
- Design API security policies with API gateway rate limiting and traffic control
- Design non human and machine identity controls for service accounts and API tokens
- Detect API abuse anomalous behavior and misconfiguration with SOC and security teams
- Enforce least privilege access for API identity and authorization
- Implement API logging and forward identity events to SIEM
- Implement centralized secrets management with secure storage rotation and auditing
- Lead centralized API governance including registration lifecycle and policy enforcement
- Maintain architecture standards and reference designs for API identity and secrets management
- Operationalize enterprise API gateway for IAM and API security adoption
