Tasks
- Analyze Cisco ASA and Cisco Firepower configurations
- Collaborate with teams to define firewall controls
- Configure and troubleshoot Palo Alto security policies
- Design deploy implement and support Palo Alto firewalls
- Develop automation scripts for firewall operations
- Implement Palo Alto Advanced Threat Prevention
- Implement network segmentation high availability and redundancy
- Lead firewall migration projects
- Mentor junior engineers and maintain documentation
- Perform change management with test and rollback plans
- Provide operational support incident response root cause analysis
- Provide rotational on-call support
- Review and optimize firewall rule sets
- Review logs alerts and security events
- Support audit and compliance evidence
- Troubleshoot network security issues
