Senior Oracle Database Administrator
Tasks
- Administer Oracle database environments
- Develop SQL and PL SQL stored procedures and views
- Develop and maintain data marts and database views
- Ensure encryption in transit and at rest compliance
- Evaluate emerging database technologies
- Execute backup and recovery strategies with RMAN
- Implement high availability and disaster recovery with Oracle Data Guard
- Implement replication with Oracle GoldenGate
- Maintain technical documentation and runbooks
- Manage Oracle databases in Azure and Linux
- Manage database interfaces and data synchronization
- Manage database security roles privileges and encryption
- Mentor junior database administrators
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues
- Perform database installation configuration upgrades and patching
- Perform schema modifications migrations and environment refreshes
- Provide database troubleshooting for application releases
- Support Oracle Enterprise Manager monitoring and automation
- Support capacity planning and architecture reviews
- Tune database performance
