Senior Security Engineer
Tasks
- Collaborate with engineering platform and operations teams to improve security services
- Conduct threat modeling
- Create reusable security templates and self service tooling
- Design and implement service mesh security controls
- Develop security guardrails using policy as code
- Enable authentication authorization and encryption for service to service
- Execute secure code reviews
- Harden workload security and secrets management
- Implement cloud and container security controls
- Implement secure build and release processes
- Implement security controls for compliance and data protection
- Integrate automated security testing tools
- Lead application security practices across software development lifecycle
- Manage identity and access management and network segmentation
- Manage software vulnerability lifecycle risk assessment prioritization remediation and validation
- Perform secure design reviews
- Provide access control encryption logging monitoring and audit readiness
- Sign images and manage provenance
- Validate artifacts and dependencies
