SOC Analyst
Tasks
- Conduct threat hunting on lower priority alerts
- Create and refine alert policies
- Maintain and optimise SOC tools processes and documentation
- Manage security incidents escalated from junior analysts
- Perform incident analysis and determine impact
- Prepare incident reports and case templates
- Prioritise classify and assign incoming alerts
- Recommend actions to prevent similar incidents
- Support and mentor junior SOC analysts
