SOC Engineer
Tasks
- Collaborate with SOC analysts and other departments
- Design implement and maintain secure configurations
- Diagnose and resolve security issues
- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 and NIST
- Evaluate and recommend vulnerability scanning tools and processes
- Monitor security alerts and events
- Participate in tabletop exercises and simulations
- Perform incident triage investigation and resolution
- Provide guidance and training to junior staff
- Root cause problems to prevent recurrence
