- Coordinate incident response across teams
- Correlate events across security tooling
- Develop and maintain SOC playbooks and runbooks
- Drive containment eradication and recovery
- Enrich investigations with threat intelligence
- Ensure compliance with security policies and maintain audit ready documentation
- Hunt for indicators of compromise
- Lead incident triage and alert investigations
- Mentor analysts on investigation techniques and documentation
- Perform root cause analysis
- Produce incident reports and executive summaries
- Support purple team exercises and post incident reviews
- Tune detections and improve log fidelity with engineering
