🚀 I am an InfoSec consultant with 16 years of experience at leading institutions, including Deutsche Bank, Santander Asset Management, RBS, HSBC, Lloyds, LV, and Aviva. My work spans finance, technology, and education.

💼 Finance Career Foundation
Before transitioning into InfoSec, I began my career as an FCA-regulated investment manager, specialising in pensions and investment advice. I progressed and focused on debt restructuring, project appraisal, capital markets, and IPOs. Along the way, I earned CII and CISI Fellow and Chartered designations, passed CFA Level I and the IMC, and gained certifications from the Corporate Finance Institute, including FMVA, BIDA, CMSA, and CBCA. I am also ACCA-certified in Finance and Business, with additional qualifications in IFRS and auditing.

💻 Tech & Cybersecurity Expertise
As a cybersecurity and technology specialist, I deliver on regulatory reporting, cybersecurity, and software development projects. My expertise includes hybrid roles in project management (PRINCE2-certified), business and data analysis, and Azure solutions architecture. I specialise in DevSecOps, GRC, financial modelling, and cost-benefit analysis, supported by Microsoft certifications (AZ-900, DP-900, SC-900, AZ-500) and my ISC2 membership. I have also passed the CISSP exam.

🎓 Educator & Author
In addition to consulting, I teach MBA students, professionals, and apprentices in cybersecurity, data analysis, accounting, and investment. I have authored materials on finance and accountancy topics for the CII, CISI, LIBF, and ICAEW. As a qualified teacher and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, I also have experience as a Chief Examiner for investment and pension transfer modules.

My academic background includes doctoral research on encryption in UK banking and FinTech, alongside an MBA in Computer Science focusing on Cybersecurity and Big Data Analytics.
