Bio

Isaac Kasuske is an aspiring tech professional currently focusing on a career in Cybersecurity. With a solid understanding of the NIST Cyber Security Framework and Risk Management Framework, Isaac has picked up technical skills through virtual courses and projects in his home lab, utilizing tools such as Packet Tracer, Wireshark, and VirtualBox. He is currently working as the Customer Service and Order Fulfillment Supervisor for The Home Depot, where his leadership and dedication to excellence have earned him multiple commendations for excellence.

Isaac is working towards his CompTIA Security+ certification and has already completed several notable certifications including the Google IT Support Certification, IBM Cyber Threat Intelligence, and Google Cybersecurity Professional Certification, in addition to completing the yearly DoD Cyber Awareness Challenge two years in a row. These certifications reflect his commitment to continuously expanding his knowledge and expertise in the field.

In terms of practical experience, Isaac has successfully created a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system in Microsoft Azure using Sentinel and utilized a virtual machine as a honeypot. He has also built an Active Directory server in a VirtualBox environment and performed SCAP scans on a virtual machine using the SCC tool provided by DISA. His ability to create a Windows 10 STIG checklist and import SCAP scan results to the STIG Viewer demonstrates his proficiency in compliance and security automation. Additionally, Isaac has hands-on experience troubleshooting network issues in Cisco Packet Tracer labs, including VLAN configuration, static NAT, routing, and dynamic PAT.
