Security Operations Center Engineer III
Tasks
- Administer Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud and Cribl
- Conduct security assessments and identify monitoring improvements
- Design implement maintain security monitoring and logging
- Develop security content for emerging threats
- Develop security use cases and correlation searches
- Develop technical documentation and standard operating procedures
- Engineer optimize log collection normalization enrichment and retention
- Generate executive security reports and metrics
- Integrate security controls with cloud network and systems teams
- Investigate security alerts incidents and anomalies
- Lead incident response activities
- Lead security monitoring operations
- Perform threat detection threat hunting and incident analysis
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior analysts
- Stay current on emerging threats and attack techniques
- Support compliance audits and security assessments
