Tasks
- Advise on secure design patterns for microservices and cloud
- Analyze new vulnerabilities exploit techniques and supply chain risks
- Collaborate with security operations during incidents
- Deliver internal AppSec workshops and knowledge sharing
- Drive secure coding adoption
- Drive vulnerability remediation
- Embed security into CI/CD pipelines
- Evaluate AppSec automation opportunities
- Integrate security testing into build test and deploy workflows
- Lead threat modeling exercises
- Maintain AppSec documentation and secure development standards
- Mentor teams on secure design and modern AppSec patterns
- Own maintain and tune AppSec tooling
- Perform manual code reviews for critical paths and APIs
- Support security reviews and pen test remediation
- Triage prioritize and analyze application vulnerabilities
