Data Administrator
Tasks
- Administer ETL processes and data pipelines
- Administer database security encryption at rest and in transit and firewall rules
- Configure SQL Server Auditing
- Create and maintain PowerShell and DOS scripts for monitoring database health
- Create schedule and monitor SQL Server Agent jobs
- Install patch upgrade secure and manage SQL Server database hosts
- Lead or support database related projects
- Maintain backup and recovery strategies
- Maintain server database and Azure data services inventory
- Manage database access control implement RBAC and service managed identities
- Manage database schemas indexes constraints and metadata
- Provide guidance on database standards and best practices
- Provide high availability performance tuning and proactive maintenance
- Research and evaluate emerging database services and technologies
- Troubleshoot database recovery issues and SQL Server errors
