Sr Principal - Data Protection and Cyber Recovery Engineer
Tasks
- Architect backup and restore solutions
- Automate restore validation workflows
- Build backup infrastructure with infrastructure as code
- Conduct blameless post-incident reviews
- Define and validate RTO and RPO targets
- Design air gapped and immutable backup tiers
- Harden and monitor backup infrastructure
- Implement version controlled CI CD pipelines
- Investigate backup failures and resolve issues
- Lead restore testing and DR failover exercises
- Maintain backup recovery policy and standards
- Maintain cryptographic integrity verification for backup data
- Maintain hybrid backup inventory and gap register
- Manage Terraform state and module libraries
- Own backup policy governance
- Run adversarial recovery exercises
- Serve as technical contact for audit and regulators
- Support ICT recovery planning evidence packs
- Support backup compliance under DORA
- Validate immutable backup integrity
