Tasks
- Advise on system categorization security control selection and tailoring
- Develop templates checklists SOPs and evidence standards for authorization quality
- Evaluate implemented technical operational and management controls
- Identify control gaps and recommend risk informed remediation
- Lead RMF and Security Assessment and Authorization activities for federal information systems
- Maintain current knowledge of RMF NIST and federal cybersecurity best practices
- Perform security impact analysis for technical changes
- Provide technical guidance for ISSO ISSM engineering and authorization stakeholders
- Review RMF documentation and authorization artifacts
- Support cloud security engineering for AWS Azure and Google Cloud
- Support vulnerability remediation patch compliance and POA and M tracking
- Track and communicate risks findings action items and remediation progress
