- Prepare hosts for Commvault deployment
- Push Commvault client software to clients
- Register clients with CommServe
- Remove NetBackup software
- Restore data from legacy LTO tapes
- Run integrity verification in Commvault CommCell
- Run uninstallation scripts
- Test TLS handshakes
- Transfer long term data to S3 compatible storage
- Validate backup and restore results
- Validate client connectivity with cvping
- Validate system state after removal
- Validate time synchronization and storage mounts
