Software Engineer 1
Tasks
- Analyze user requirements derive software design and performance requirements
- Assist with developing and executing test procedures
- Debug existing software and correct defects
- Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features
- Design and implement complex database and data repository interfaces and queries
- Develop and implement algorithms to meet performance and functional standards
- Develop and support GUI interfaces into EMM
- Develop and support data transport systems portfolio components
- Develop and support near real time messaging infrastructure
- Develop data queries for databases or data repositories
- Develop software solutions analyzing system performance requirements
- Integrate existing software into new systems or operating environments
- Modify existing software to correct errors and improve performance
- Provide tier three support for data transport systems software
- Support multi-threaded applications
- Use configuration management tools and repositories
- Write or review software and system documentation
